Sun Shines on Station Road Artisan Market

The sun was shining, and everyone was smiling for the first Artisan Market in Knowle on 9th September. Situated on the service road on Station Road (outside David Aitchison & Knowle Fish Bar), there were stalls with gifts, crafts, food and drink from traders from Knowle, Warwickshire & the Midlands.

There was a lovely atmosphere throughout the day and the event was enjoyed by visitors and traders alike.

Visit Knowle organised the Artisan Market as part of their support for Knowle and its businesses. Volunteer Directors Dave Pinwell and Sue Thompson both enjoyed speaking to lots of people about the work Visit Knowle do and getting feedback on what else people would like to see in the village.

Dave Pinwell said “We’d like to thank everyone who came out in the heat to support our village and create such a tremendous buzz in Station Road. We had lots of positive conversations on the day with calls for more market events in the future.

Sue Thompson said “It was lovely to see so many familiar faces and meet new people.
